My color-matched Lariat grille (Lightning Blue)

I'm not a fan of chrome, so I bought a painted Lariat grille from @ac_perks and repainted it. Disassembled it, scuffed the factory paint with a maroon 3M pad, shot it with primer sealer, got some color matched paint in a rattle can from R&E Paint Supply as well as their 2K clear coat that contains a hardener you activate when you're ready. Set up a paint "booth" in my basement (with ventilation and dust collection) using a plastic drop cloth....yes, I'm single Worked like a charm. Going to get more pics tomorrow after I install it.....need to watch @j0shm1lls removal/install video again.

OK, I couldn't wait. I'll get better pics tomorrow if the weather cooperates.....

I'm not typically a fan of the blacked out Ford logos (I like the blue oval), I gotta say, that grille looks really sharp.

That looks great! I think some black vinyl Ranger letters would set it off even more.

I was so enamored with the repainted grill, I didn't even notice you did the lower valance too. Looks good all decked out in blue!

The lower valance came like that (non-sport). That's one of the reasons I didn't order the sport package. That and when your insurance company hears "sport package", they bump your rates up a little for an appearance package....

Ah, didn't realize the valance was body-colored on a non-sport...makes sense though.
