Kenda Klever R/T 265/70r17

Curious if anyone is running these. I see their load rating is E and wondered how they handled on the rangers. Trying to find the best budget on/off road tire.

Anything E rated is going to ride like crap. These trucks are not heavy enough to run them and most are heavy tires. Just my $.02……

never tried the kenda tires. they look pretty tough but ive seen a lot of bad reviews. E rated is fine if you want it. will they ride a bit stiffer than lesser rated tires, sure. I run E rated and notice very little difference in ride vs. stock tires. if i was buying tires and wanted the most off road worthy for the money id go with these. cooper is a quality tire and has a long history of taking care of customers if issues come up. discount tire is a r5g member / sponsor im sure they could get you set up with a fair deal. at my local discount they are 200 a tire for the go to ranger size. I would avoid any chinaish tires. good tires are a get back home item. Im on a tight budget also, so i know the feeling.

they sure are! ive never had a bad tire made by cooper but the price does make me wince a bit. price of everything does these days sadly.

Over the years I’ve ran many different brands from KM2’s to Wildpeaks and haven’t had much bad to say about any of them other than my Super Swamper TSL SX’s taking what seemed like pounds to balance.

I’ve ran the Kenda Klever M/T on my old 4Runner and they did surprisingly well, especially for the price, but I was wanting more of an A/T or R/T than a M/T on the ranger.

I like those Cooper Evolutions, I just live in an area that gets it’s fair share of all the weather types and worry the minimal siping wouldn’t be too great in heavy rain or ice.

the cooper at3 or at34s may be a good choice. they are more wet road friendly. its tough to find a tire that is good on and off road. good off road normally means less pavement manners and more slippery in weather. good on road typically means stinks off road. ive used the pro comp at in the past and it was a great tire off road and still good on road.

i have a set ready to go on my truck when it arrives. got them for just under $800 to my door. 265/70/17. have cooper stt pros on my raptor and have been very happy with them

I've been looking at 255/70/18 and they around $250 a piece. Let me know how you like them.

i got these bad boys waiting to go on, well UPS delivered 3 today haha. 285/70/17 D rated, wanted P rated tires but decided to pull the trigger, F it. Did the Sasquatch Modification to the ranger today, she is ready when number 4 gets here.

I had these kenda on my last ram 1500 the road amazing and quite on the road. I was thinking of putting them on my Ranger when I upgrade my tires
