Yeah. Got me looking at Jeeps. And the wife works at Ford. It's a bummer.
Whaaat? A Jeep? That’s the dark side.

Vibrations are the worst. Sucks to have to accept it as normal when you know it doesn’t make you happy. But I know what your talking about. My Ranger didn’t make it 9 months of ownership before Ford bought mine back for vibration issues.

You mean Fiat right? There are no more true Jeeps anymore unfortunately. Those went away a long time ago. Also they are overpriced for what you dont get.

So...tires getting replaced. Awaiting the discussion with Ford on Monday to see just what that means to me. They offered to replace with any tire. Gonna try K02's if this works out.

Because they're lighter than the ko2 and the grabber you should have gone with the Firestone Destination XT. Just saying

Checked on the weight...looks like it's .3 lbs difference between the Firestone and the K02... that's prob how much weight is on my wheels for balancing....;)

I have an entire write up on the Firestone Destination XT on here. Its in the Tires, wheels and brakes section. To say the least I loved them

People rag on Firestone, but I've swore by a lot of them over the years... on my last few cars I went with the Firestone Indy 500 and they beat the shit out of the oem and cost half the price!

It doesnt help with what happened to the Exploder in the 90's but thats a discussion for later. Me personally like the Destination line from Firestone. My 94 F150 has a set of Destination LE3's and my Pathfinder with get a set of XT's soon. At my last job I convinced my boss to get the XT's on the work van and it was worth it.

Yeah, I know. Personally VERY aware of the details of the whole Firestone issue. Wasnt quite what everyone thought it was.

UPDATE

So Ford is paying to have my tires replaced. They'll be putting on K02's, which I was able to choose. Looked at a bunch of tires, but overall the most respected, rated and reviewed over time seemed to be the K02.

So, let's see what results from it all.
