Driving through the FL Keys last week, we noticed they had empty sheriff's cars sitting off to the side or in the median every so often. They should use these props. Much cheaper than an actual car and probably almost as effective.

The CHP used to have one on US 50 on the way to Tahoe just past the turnoff to Crystal Basin. Some people would some times use spray paint to "modify" the cutout. Its gone now.
