Tremor Wheel (17x8 version) Weight

Looking to see if anyone has the ground truth on how much this type of wheel weighs. I have reached out to a dealership but could not get an answer (apparently not listed in the website). There was also a mention on the boards a while back of the 17x8 Tremor wheel weighing 25 lbs., but if I remember correctly that was just some extrapolation based on the total wheel/tire package weight. That was the only reference I could find.

That said, if some has weighed this wheel (or possibly be willing to weigh this wheel--perhaps a takeoff that is waiting to be sold) and could post the results here, that would be much appreciated.

The LT265/70-17 General Grabber ATx tire that comes on the Tremor weighs 46 lbs. If you get a tire and wheel weight subtract the tire weight for your wheel weight.

I'd say 29 pounds.

He's suggesting someone weigh their mounted tire/wheel and then subtract the weight of the tire, which would then give us the wheel weight.

I'm getting mine rotated and balanced @Discount Tire Saturday; if we don't get an answer from someone else before then, I'll weigh the combo while they have them off.

Sub, I have a Tremor but last time my wheels were off I didn't think to bring a scale. I was curious about this too.

So the mounted tire and wheel is approximately 71.5 pounds if the scale we used this morning is correct. We used unscientific method of weighing me and then handing me the wheel/tire.

Take it with a grain of salt - we used a bathroom scale and me holding the tire/wheel. It does seem consistent with the reported weight of the wheel at 25ish pounds, and weight of tire at 46ish.

Man, I was hoping the wheel was heavier, that seems pretty light for an OEM wheel. The Method Bead Grip wheels I was looking at range anywhere from 25-30lbs for a 17x8.5"
