Honestly, don’t use any duster. All your doing is moving contaminates on your paint, you need to lubricate. Get a quick detailer and some microfibers. Better than any duster will ever Be.
I saw this in the trunk of this '67 Nova yesterday at Mecum Auction. It reminded me of this thread so I had to get a picture. If a California Duster is good enough for this $200,000 dollar show car I'm sure it's good enough for our trucks. lolI've been using them for 20+ years and never had any scratches. The key is to not let the dust/dirt build up and to also run it lightly over the surface only using the tips of the duster. I had a dark blue Vette and now my Ranger and there's not one scratch on either. Having a good coat of wax (now Graphene) is key too so maybe that's why because I'm diligent about keeping it protected.
