I had not used it before, I thought I would give it a try, crap, in the last 4 days it has gone from in the high $4 rang to the mid $5 range, yesterday it was mid to high $6 range, with only one station in the high $5 range. Can,t wait for today, I bet I see the first $7 station.

I need to buy a junker electric car to push around my Ranger, no, really, I'll get a good strong hitch, run a wire into the cab with a button, use the truck gas engine to get up to speed and push the button, "come on Flux Capacitor get me to 88mph", or I will just buy the precious fuel and be happy.

I am also in SoCal, I have found stations in the high $5 range, it's almost like the Travel link finds the most expensive stations.

i started checking out gasbuddy.com to see what was the best price near me. its accuracy depends on how recent the reports are so, if its more than 12 hours old expect it to be higher.

Thankfully our governor is pausing gas tax, which is around 40-50 cents.

Oil prices have actually been dropping though because of promises of increased production not only here in the US, but also in the Middle East. Now I expect gas prices to keep going up even with a drop in oil, but at some point demand has to go down. If demand goes down and production increases at some point the price has to stabilize and drop a bit.

Wife and I did a trip around Lake Tahoe Tuesday and i noticed the gas prices on the Neveda side were in the $6.50 range, I thought it was just because it was just the normal Tahoe inflated prices and I'd filled up here in my area for $4.70 not four days prior. Pretty much killed that tank on the trip so when I filled up yesterday gas was over $6 here. Fuuuuuuuuu
