2022 Ranger Order Update

I'm in no rush honestly but what has been the typical time frame?

A lot of it will depend on how many Ranger orders your dealer has that have not been scheduled. Ford schedules on Thursdays, if you are one of the only orders that your dealer has right now, I would expect you to get scheduled in the next 2 weeks. My dealer gets 3 scheduled a week and they are about an average size dealer.

Right now Ford is scheduling for late February and early March build dates so if you get one of those you can expect to get it sometime in April. Shipping can vary from 2-4 weeks depending on how far away you are from Michigan.

What are your specs? There are some delays with certain options.

My process has been pretty smooth so far with no delays and is waiting to be shipped.

And from what i have seen and been hearing here and on the you tubes, wait 8 months or a year for my vehicle.

Is it really that bad? I got mine January 2021 right before the big shortages and empty lots.

My experience has been pretty good. I ordered in late October and it is sitting at the factory ready to ship. It would not have even taken that long but they did not start making the new model year until late December. If it was based on my timetable, I feel like you would have it in 12-16 weeks. I have not had any delays with mine so far and if everything went smooth, I think you could have one late April or early May.

Sometimes Tremor can delay things a little but since you have a super crew it should go pretty smooth. The biggest things I have heard are people getting the supercab not get scheduled Very fast.

I got order confirmation email about 10 minutes after my dealer placed my order which was on December 15th. No scheduling email yet. Mine is a Lariat tremor if that even matters

Just to give perspective, I was told 8 to 12 weeks when I ordered in April 2021. Today, I am still waiting for a 21 Ranger Crew cab Lariat with black appearance package.

Don't believe any timelines they give you.

I'm not, when I receive the Ford emails and a call with a vin, then I'll believe it lol .. for now, it's out of my hands.

So the "Scheduled for Production" email comes on Thursdays?
