So how's this setup working out so far? Did you get the rubbing prob resolved? I have Eibach coilovers and am thinking of going to this size/tires. My wheels are 17X8 +25 though
I can chime in here. I was following this thread prior to getting my truck and tires/wheels. I have the Eibach kit with 3" of front lift, with 295/70r17 Ridge Grapplers on a +1mm offset, Readylift intrusion beams and here are my results...
On the passenger side only, I needed to remove a small amount of material on the RL beams to allow clearance at/near full lock (was only an issue when reversing, and I assume when suspension compressed as well). On both sides I had to pin the fender liner back near the outside lower corners with sheet metal screws and fender washers just to gain a smidge more clearance. I couldn't tell if the tires were rubbing the liners but saw the liners were just starting to get fuzzy at one small area. I screwed them into the plastic crash structure behind them (I was fortunately able to keep those in place). No contact with my RTR flares.
With a +25 you should be in better shape but the only way to know for sure is get them on and see. Will report back if further issues with more mileage. I have probably 1k km on this setup so far and no off-road adventures yet.

@SVTPaul bro that looks so mean! What a weapon.

If you get a moment could you give us an update? I've been going round and round on the fitment calculators and tire rack. Looking for real world examples now.

I have BDS crash bars and Bilstein 6112 coilovers at +2" front. I was on the factory 17×8.5+55s with 2" hub spacers (equaling +5 offset) and 255/80s which rubbed the well liner like you described.

Finally got some new wheels at 17×8.5+18 so now I want MORE RUBBER!!! Hopefully with the coilovers up to +2.5" and a few sheet metal screws I can get 295/70s or 285/75s in there.

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

-Ethan

P.s. here she is.

Thanks for the compliments, appreciate it. Yours is looking great too! I had to go back and do another iteration of grinding on the lower exterior portion of the passenger side ReadyLift intrusion beam but again not very severe. My approach was to remove as little as possible so it took 4-5 phases of removing some and trialing in different conditions, shifting the weight of the truck over different grades and situations. The driver side still hasn't needed to be touched.

Keep in mind the Eibach is 3" lift so some more clearance than you have, although not sure how much difference. But your offset should be more favorable as well.

@Travis9935 Hell yeah! Blue on black. And that rack!

17×8+25 right? Eibachs up to +3"? The Bilsteins only go as high as +2.5" so if you're rubbing I'm def gonna have issues.

The Geolandars look sick. How do you like em?

@SVTPaul That's interesting it's only one side. Probably impossible to tell, but I'll ask anyway... Do you think it's more the tread part or the wall part of the edge of the tire that was rubbing? Probably doesn't matter but I'm asking because 285/75s are a little taller and narrower.

The Readylift bars are narrower than the BDS ones too so I'll have get them ordered. Oh and those RTR flares are the first I've seen that I like. ?

Yeah I have the Eibach pro coilovers... I never adjusted then but supposedly they come set around 3". I don't have any rubbing what so ever. I removed all crash bars and the plastic waffle. Honestly I feel like I could easily run 35's. But I don't want to go any bigger because I will be towing a 7X16 enclosed with my sxs. My mpgs are already gonna be in the shitter. The tires are pretty badass. Even awesome in the snow. They're not as quiet as everyone says they are. I'd say they're prob close to double the noise of the Bfg ko2. Slightly louder than the Gy Duratracs. It doesn't bother me though.

I'm pretty certain it was the very innermost part of the tread basically at the corner where it meets the shoulder of the tire. But, yeah it was damn hard to tell exactly what part of the tire was doing it. The nitto ridge grappler is also pretty aggressive right in that area and another tire might not even have that issue.

On another note, I actually have a set of Fabtech's here and I think they likely provide the most clearance with their offset. I decided on the Readylift because they claimed to be FEA verified and reuse the stock hardware. But in hindsight, I sort of wish I had gone the fabtech route. I can sell them if you're interested but shipping might be ridiculous depending on your location. They are pretty heavy too!

295 club ?

Those rokblokz don't look bad on there, and I'm sure they're quite functional. I wonder how difficult they would be to fit over a set of flares...I'm guessing a pain as they probably use the original fender arch thingy hardware locations? Those are now covered by my RTR flares.

Seems like when you start customizing you need to modify other things to fit. They would be doable though...

Oh yes, some modifications don't play well with other mods. That's part of the game for sure. I'll give it some more consideration. I might modify RB's hardware setup and/or use self tapping screws or drill right through my RTR's and put hardware behind them. The cost of those flares has me cringing a bit at that idea though. The winter grime on our roads has me thinking about adding them. Your truck looks great by the way!
