Crazy. I’ve only been to Louisiana down south, in September, and bugger me, was almost as bad as home gets.

Never would have guessed it. No wonder painting didn’t go so well.
I know not too paint something when it's cold outside, LOL! When I painted everything Friday & Saturday, it was hot and sunny... Yesterday morning was almost 60*F! That's how Alabama weather is... You should see the snow results this morning! It's double what they predicted! Almost 7" deep outside...

Not much left to do to the little truck, except drive it!

Got to almost 80* today, so I put the wheels back on and drove it out of the garage and took some pics. It's filthy, but a bath is coming tomorrow/this week?

IMG_20211226_144410613_HDR.jpg

It looks clean, but trust me, she's F'in filthy!

Oh, I'm thinking about removing the raised tailgate letters. Mostly because it's super difficult to clean around them. Thinking about putting some Matte Black overlays on it instead?

Anyway, I installed my tailgate seal.
IMG_20211226_143140783_HDR.jpg

It fixed the gap I wanted filled :)

Put my Dog Rear Seat Cover on, for my little Pitbull. He didn't know what to think of it, LOL!
IMG_20211226_144138885.jpg

Installed the little ignition trim ring, that @Dean makes. It looks so much better with this trim piece!
IMG_20211226_144259847.jpg

Worked on my pressure washer modifications. New quick connect installed on the washer.
IMG_20211226_140234391.jpg

New 1.1mm Orifice in my Adam's Polishes Foam Cannon to replace the stock 1.25mm Orifice.
IMG_20211226_134412942.jpg

Lastly, I finally put up two, 4' shelves to accommodate all my freshly acquired Adam's detailing products!
IMG_20211226_153905340.jpg

This probably won't be enough space, since I'll have more stuff on the way, LOL!

I also rearranged the Towel/Brush/Polisher cabinet, since I got more Adam's Polishes stuff from relatives for Christmas, ha!
IMG_20211226_153921494.jpg

I still want to get most of the interior panels painted Black. I would love to get the A and B pillars Black. Headliner yes, but it isn't pressing at the moment...

Honestly not much left to do on this build...
This is one of the freshest trucks I've seen-- congrats dude, you've killed it!!!!

Thank you! :D

I only took someone else's ideas and made them my own, LOL! I don't think anyone else how cloned the SCT SEMA truck to this degree yet?

How my snow day went on the other side of town…Lightening hit our substation in either the tornado storm or the ice storm.

Fortunately we never lost power! I went out yesterday morning early and noticed so many downed limbs/trees! When I got home from work today, the Doctor across the road from me had someone moving a ton of limbs to the edge of the road!

Earlier today, I got my new pair of Control Freaks Adjustable UCA's. Put the balljoints in and adjusted them to their specs (not adjusted in this pic though).

Installed in the truck.

I also got the correct hubcentric rings installed.

I also installed a Mishimoto Oil Catch Can and this thing was a complete PITA to install, but well built! Apparently in '21, then changed the PCV hose/system routing? They directions are for '19-'20 only, so they're installation video didn't help much....

This red circle is the new lower catch can hose goes. This was a nightmare to get too... I couldn't even get a good pic of where the hose connects, but it's just behind/above the red circle.
IMG_20220106_171228419.jpg

This is where the '21 trucks only have the upper catch can hose connected.
IMG_20220106_171121845.jpg

This is the stock PCV hose. It's completely different from the '19-'20 trucks. The part # on this hose is LB5E-6K817-EA and I cannot find it anywhere on the internet... Anyway, this is what the catch can replaces.
IMG_20220106_182439883.jpg

Here are where both new lines come to meet.
IMG_20220106_171105986.jpg

In '21, they made these 2 holes threaded. '19-'20 were just punched holes and you had to use a bolt with a nut to secure the mount...
IMG_20220106_172027917.jpg

Catch can installed. The upper hose is too long for the '21 trucks, so I cut it to length.
IMG_20220106_172656340.jpg

Finished installing the catch can.
IMG_20220106_173239414.jpg

I put everything back together and zip tied the hoses. Everything should work like it did before, but the weather was in the single digits and I didn't want to open the garage. I'll do it tomorrow or this weekend.

I ordered my SCT BDX tuner from 5-Star last week and they suggested I get one, which I was planning on getting the dual Mountune one, but they had this Mishimoto one available, along with 4-5 more, but I like Mishimoto products, so I got it. I just didn't expect the awful, or lack of, paper instructions. Their video was awful, but took about 1.5 hours, as they predicted it would.

I'm unsure if I would even need a dual system? If I did, I would definitely leave these Mishimoto hoses in place, especially the lower one, LOL!

I technically haven't "used" them yet, LOL! I was hoping to get the ceramic coating done this weekend, but it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow and I'm not sure I would be able to even get it all cleaned and polished beforehand to apply the ceramic coat today...

A retired friend of mine sent me a video of this last night and it almost looks like what I've done to my Ranger, LOL!

Description:
A custom truck shop in Thailand has created a mashup of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 and Ford Ranger pickup that actually looks pretty good. https://www.foxnews.com/auto/ford-mustang-pickup-can-haul

I should get a new grille, without the logo and stick a Black Mustang running horse emblem in it and put the Mustang name on the tailgate on my truck! ????

I put the ceramic coat on everything. There are plenty of how to videos right on Adam's website.
