AVS Window Guards

Maybe my truck is cursed but this will now he the 3rd time I've had to take these things off and retape. The first set was the official licensed Ford ones which were definitely not molded properly. They ended up ripping the vinyl B pillar post applique. I got AVS hoping these would work better and now the drivers side tape is coming off the acrylic part of the deflector. Debating to fix it or get the B pillar vinyl overlay fixed and put on the in channel guards. ?

I have the Weather Tech in the channel window visors....took about 5 minutes to install 4 and they haven't moved a bit! Love them!

I'd like to get them but I'm wondering what Ford would cost to replace the vinyl B Pillar. The vinyl part is $15 from Ford. I'd do it myself but I'm not sure the difficulty or ease of replacing.
