Hello I went 265 70 I had to trim alot of the front and rear crash bars ,if I had gone bigger I think there would be trimming in other areas , flares wells etc ... this stance I think is appropriate for this truck , gained 8 inches I n width , it tracks real nice and feels solid , I think 3.5 inch lift would accommodate your fit if your going wider and taller. Hers a few pics I’m flush almost maybe , a1/4 outside , goodluck buddy!
Thanks , and happy trails friend!

Do they fit flawlessly? No gaps or anything?
Truck looks sick!!
Thanks I appreciate that.
Looks great, I have the bushwacker pocket flares. I have a few questions, one did you/they have to do any trimming on any part of the truck, two what brand and dimensions are the rims so I can search accordingly. Any spacers? Any words of caution from the shop about safety or handling due to offset? Can you snap a front or rear view down a side so we can see the stance? That's the stance I think I'm after. I looked at a 275 tire but it was close to 12 pounds heavier per wheel than own, concerned about any strain on components and mileage drop, need to research.
no spacers

bigger tires will always cause issues compared to stick but if you drive slow it’s jus fine stuff wears out about the same , faster you go with big tires your truck will not last as long it’s just common sense.

The shop who did install on my lift messed up the lower cv boot cover on driver side passenger side is fine everything , is good but I have grease coming from there, I can’t believe it.
Did you take it back? Any update on the fix? I’m about to have this done to my truck, and am worried about the same type of thing happening. I hate having other people work on my stuff, but I really just don’t feel like hassling with it this time. Getting old I guess...

Yes they fixed it and I’m not having any problems, I would recommend a place that specializes in lifting trucks , you should be fine .

I went with a 3" spacer lift and was able to fit 285/65/18's on +30 offset wheels without any trimming...no rubs at full lock forward and reverse.

3” Spacer lift from Rangerlifts.com
That is full steering lock left to right forward and/or reverse. In all drives.
If you use stock wheels with +55 offset you’ll need a 1/4 inch wheel spacer to clear the knuckles. A +30 offset gets you plenty of space off the knuckle.

Looks like you did a perfect job in achieving flush to your flares imo. Thanks for posting as this helps me confirm a 295 tire on a +1 offset 17x9 should accomplish the same (I hope!). I plan on RTR flares but should be close to same as rough country says these are 1.75" coverage and RTR is 1.5" I've been on the fence with +1 vs -12 for about 3 months now and have scoured this forum..lol

I'd suggest before you make that purchase you play in https://tiresize.com and check the offset calculator if you haven't already. It's a fantastic tool.
