Ok, kinda weird. But part of the reason is because of the way pickups are taxed in the Philippines, which makes the Raptor relatively cheap compared to other countries.

Yup, sorta. It's likely a combination of low taxes in the Philippines on utility vehicles (including pickups) plus free trade agreements within ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations), which the Philippines and Thailand (where the Ranger Raptor is built) are a part of.

Holy shit!! in Norway we pay 71 000 euro but only with two seats, to get the rear seats we probably have to pay around 30 000euro tax fee.

But still the Raptor is very popular in Norway as company car, but than if you use it as compny car you can reduce tax.

About same in Finland. 58680€ price + 41304,99 tax for grand total of 99984,99€. That without any accessories, delivery charges or dealer charges.

With some light changes, added air suspension (to put the gross weight over 3500kg), and with mandatory speed limiter to 80km/h (80 is max allowed speed, 89 is hard speed limit with the limiter) you qualify to light commercial vehicle and avoid that tax. But then again, you need to pay for the modifications....

Middle option is the "Van" from which you need to remove the back seats and cover the installation place with plywood & upholstery. Maximum legal speed is 100km/h but not limited with speed limiter. Then you get the car for 64380€ (price after said modifications) with lower tax of 12059,68€.. so a two seater for 76439,68€.

All in all you "pay for speed and/or seating", the car is same outside of papers. I chose not to pay, so I'll be driving at 80km/h @ 120km/h roads.
