Hi guys, I just found this website. Looks like a great group. I just ordered a Ranger super cab FX4 XLT a week ago. Does anyone know when ford is going to start building super cabs? I haven't been able to find one anywhere. Thanks.

Mine was ordered 4 weeks ago, Ford has done nothing except acknowledge my order on Jan 3rd.
ROVP has meant nothing. Promised updates and communications from Ford have not materialized from as far back as August.
I remember when Ford wanted to be my car company
At least a progress report would be nice.
Maybe April? but what year ?Promises, promises!
I'm told "There's a Ford in my future" but I'm beginning to doubt it.

Ordered my Ranger on August 18. Dealer didn’t know about ROVP until December 5. Finally got my VIN and delivery date today. If I had known the ordering process was this bad I would have bought a Colorado.

Have a few questions about the SuperCab:

Does anyone know how the back seat works. Does the backrest fold down like the Supercrew?

Does anyone have pictures of the rear seat delete?

I never use my back seat on my F150 Crewcab except for gear...coolers and such. I'm wondering how the back seat looks as just storage. Plus, I need a bigger bed.

I ordered mine back in early December. Recently received a VIN and this comment from my dealer: "I'll be sending a new up date as of the day of start up which is March 18." So hopefully that means the truck is getting built on the week of 3/18.

I was wondering what kind of room I'd have in the back if I removed seats and backrest. Depending on the room without seats, I can always build a large storage area. The way the SuperCab is now the seat backs are too vertical. They look so uncomfortable. I would never put anyone back there.

I'm really doing this for the bigger bed. If Ford came up with an optional 6' bed for the crewcabs, I wouldn't be having this conversation.

Have you seen the rear seat delete in the Colorado or Canyon? Go to Chevy's website to get an idea.

Rear seat delete is also XL only, not available on XLT or Lariat trims.

After I posted, I rebuilt with the XL and saw the seat delete option. Thanks man.

You can only seat delete on the XL. Not an option on XLT and Lariat.

From what I've seen the bottom cushion can be easily removed. I plan to do my own seat delete to the driver side.
