Engine runs ROUGH in the morning.

When I start the truck up in the morning the engine runs very rough, coughing, sputtering, varying rpms everything but stalling altogether. It is jerking as I back out the driveway. The driveway is L shaped, first stage about 150 feet as I back out is rough . Then I drive in fwd about 200 feet on the driveway to the road, by the time I get to the road everything is ok, running normally. If I back up later during the day , or normal driving highway or in town, there is no problem, only that first morning stretch . I use regular ethanol gas 87 octane.
Any ideas or suggestions. Morning temps here now are about 65-8

That sounds like it may be the problem, I read the TSB on a past thread just now, mine is a 05-2019 build but I will check with the dealer as the symptoms are similar.

Steve, mine was a 5/19 build also and the TSB took care of the problem. Bret

do you know which tsb it is 19-2052? my dealer is clueless i have a build date of 4/19 with the same problems-regards alan

Alan I think that is the TSB. I will see if I can find my paperwork later today to confirm

would be a great help--is all i get from ford is (get used to it)

Thats it Allen,my build date was beyond what was in the TSB but they did it anyhow and it took care of the issue
