Calling @Snorebaby, @SubVet , @joeb427 lol . Please, anyone else who has any info I'm interested in you're input. I just know Doug,Tom and Joe have the P365. When you guys were looking at the P365's did you happen to check out the P365 XL ? It's only .6 longer and comes standard with the new XRAY3 Day/Night sights and 2/12 round mags. I was looking at the black one here but then stumbled across this one here in Coyote Tan. That one comes with 2/12 round mags and 1/15 round mag.

.6 isn't going to make any difference when carrying and I do like the night sites, extra mag and the Coyote Tan with the flat trigger. What say you?

Sig P365 XL.webp
It is on my list!! I think it is a good compliment to the P365. I believe night sights are standard on the P365 line, except for the SAS. Feels the same in the hand. I think it is only 2 oz more. I was amazed at the sight picture. To me it is a little easier to get the sight on target. Haven't shot one yet, just drooled over it in the store. Even the trigger (it's different than the P365) feels pretty good. Not really awkward that it is "flat" rather than curved. I can't remember if the mags interchange but I don't think so, which is a shame. The 12rd for the P365 has a "sleeve" to make up the difference and the XL is flush.

Get it....I bet you love it. If you don't, you could always sell it to me for a deep discount!! :bandit:

Thanks Doug! Is the grip the same as the standard P365? I put a flat trigger in my CZ Scorpion (first one) and love it! It had a better feel to it and more consistent trigger pulls because you don't have that curve and the pad of your finger seems to stay put on the flat surface. I think the mags are interchangeable because the Coyote Tan come with both 2-12 round mags and 1-15 round mag. One of my friends has the regular P365 like yours but I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, actually I don't think he has either. He's going through some medical problems right now so he's kind of isolated himself.

Lol....I'll keep that off in mind but you know as well as I do if I get it I'm sure I'm going to love it based on all you guys reviews.

I just watched this video on YouTube and the mags are interchangeable, all you have to do is switch out the baseplates. The 12 round mags have the extension on the baseplate and the XL's are flush so you'd only have to buy a few baseplates rather than all new mags. Good video comparing the two models and how you can interchange some of the parts.

Another good one from Sootch00

No problem! I bought my 365 before they came out with the XL. The grip feels the same. Fills my hand rather nicely. More of a natural feel. That's what I like about the 365. It is very comfortable. I also love the feel of the SP2022. Sig makes some sweet weapons!

I am waiting on my Alien Gear OWB Cloak Mod to show up. Supposed to be here by the end of the month.

Dave, I'm trying to go smaller and find a Kahr PM9 to go 4/10"shorter in length and 3/10" shorter in height than the P365.
I do love the P365, though.

Are you going to keep the P365 too? I already have a couple micro's but the XL seems like a really good all around carry/conceal gun. I sold my P938 as it was way to small and I just didn't like it and it was to snappy and heavy. I was bored yesterday and started looking at videos and that lead to searching for write ups which lead to searching for price and inventory. I'm adding this to my list. I'm just not sure I want to pay the extra $70.00 for the Coyote Tan (which comes with 3 mags) or get the black one with 2/12 round mags. I should just start working 7 days a week then I'll be to tired to look for more toys! lol

I'll still keep the P365. I do love that pistol. I like small, though.
The PM9 is said to have about the same recoil due to a lower barrel and heavier recoil spring which does make racking the slide stiffer.
Speaking of racking the slide...
I may have my wife carry the P365. She loves the way it shoots and she can now rack the slide when holding it closer to her upper body.
I carry the P365 in my pocket holster and it's fine but I have a thing for smaller pistols.
I also do like pistols in black or would go with a PM9 with stainless top is one is around with night sights or laser.
I'm not a fan of colors.

The only negatives to me are the PM9 cost and a 6+1 which will cause me to carry an extra mag.
As you know there's a CM9 but I prefer the better quality of the more expensive PM9.

Thanks Joe! You hit the nail on the head with the mag size. Everything I own has either a 8 or 10 round capacity and I don't like double stack mags. That's the main drawback with 1911's but they're so darn addicting! The P365 seems to check every box small,lightweight,accurate,15 round mags and quality..... it's a Sig. I do like the FDE/Coyote Tan color but I'm thinking the black might be the one to save a little money.

There is a 7+1 mag that comes with it.

It's amazing how many local and online gun dealers have very little or no stock of handguns.
Also, some price gouging going on with in stock.

You're right some places are really price gouging right now. I saw the daily email from Palmetto State Armory the other day and they had 1 case of CCI Blazer 115 gr for $309.99! :curse: Then add tax and shipping and you're around .35 a round. I bought a case from them 6 months ago with free shipping for $160.00. I know the manufacturers have had small increases but not 50%. I was really surprised to see so many of the P365 XL's in stock and at a reasonable price. Not a good thing for me when I'm bored and have my credit card near by.?

Did you check www.gun.deals to see if you could find it in stock there?
