LOL! Said to wifey today that now that I have my Ranger I need the requisite rear-window gun rack. She replied "Yeah, why don't you advertise your guns to everyone so after they break into your truck to get the ones there they'll come to the house to get the rest of them!"

Another one of those oh shit moments when you knew you should've bought it but you didn't.:headbang:

When we were at Mecum last year my neighbor introduced to to this guy and we got talking about guns. Turns out he owns just about everything you can imagine 50 cals, machine guns and a few artillery guns he trailers to the Big sandy Shoot here in AZ. He hands me his card and says if you ever want a machine gun I can help you get one (legally) it's a good time to buy because some of the older guys are getting rid of them and I can get you a decent one for around $18K. So I thanked him and asked my neighbor who the heck is this guy? Says he's a big car dealer and just sold a few cars over in Europe for over 20 million, owns his own island out in Michigan so obviously $18K is a drop in the bucket for him. I did keep his card just in case we ever hit the Lotto. lol

The more I read about these RIA's I'm really starting to like them. I sold all my .45 pistols before moving out here as my wrist was really bad. It was mostly from all the repetitious work I was doing when we were doing production painting with all the contractors I worked for back east. Now that I don't do that anymore it actually feels a lot better so I'm going to pick one up in the near future. I'm looking at this one and it's reasonable at $515.00 for a 1911 with fiber optic front sights.

Supressor #2 came in today, I ordered 4 last year and the tax stamp on this was cashed on 3/26/19. I have all mine through a trust which does take longer to process. Griffin Armament GP5 5.56 6.5" and 12.9oz.This is a direct thread only but the nice thing about it is there's no barrel restrictions which is hard to find in a can for only $495.00. I actually forgot about this and thought I was going to have to purchase a 10.5 upper for my AR pistol which is 8". Now I can put that money aside for the RIA .45 or another suppressor .lol

Damn, Dave! You and I are thinking alike. That's the very .45 I've been eye-balling since seeing the RIA post a few pages back. I've wanted a 1911 for years (or decades now) and this is the one I think I've decided on. It'll just mean putting off the leveling kit and tires a little longer...maybe.

Great minds think alike!! :like: This is a really nice gun and for what you get you just can't beat the price!

It's going to be a tough choice for you between this one and the blue Ruger MKIV that matches your Ranger so well. lol Smokey Mountain Guns & Ammo does layaway too. 20% down and 90 days same as cash with free shipping. They make it WAY to easy!!! :curse:
