So I've been a little out of control with my gun purchases lately (thanks Shot Show),kind of like Sid with his lights lol I had sold my Mark III several years ago and have been eyeing this one for a while, especially since I now have a .22 suppressor. The MKIV only weighs 25 oz and my Q can weighs 4.3 oz and it's amazing how light this is. Love the 1911 style grips and the breakdown is just a push button on the rear under the bolt than lift up off the front hinge,a 10 second breakdown. I'm going to add a Volquartsen trigger kit and eventually a Vortex Venom red dot.

Can anyone guess why I chose this color?

Nice! Do they make it in blue? :giggle:

But the more I look at that, especially with the silencer (sorry, suppressor) attached...it looks like something a James Bond villain would use...

Your secret is safe with me, Dave....oh, wait.

Yep, I was just looking at the Ruger site and saw that...damn! I have too long a list for the truck to be spending money on more guns. Damn this thread!!!!

I do more shooting than driving which is obvious by my 3900 miles in 6 months lol. Plus depending on what the next Gen Ranger comes out with I might be trading in for that so I didn't go to crazy with this one. That along with we couldn't own most of this stuff when I lived back in MA so I'm like a kid in a candy store now. :giggle:

This truck will be it for quite a while, so I'm going to do to it what I never could afford to do with other trucks in the past.

I live in Washington state, so some of those things would be tough to own here...and getting tougher by the day. Look forward to retiring someplace less......Washington.

If I couldn't still write my trucks off for business I'd be keeping them a lot longer. There's such a building boom going on here right now and as much as I wanted to semi retire I just can't pass up making more money. Good thing because I can't seem to stop spending it either! :curse:

I have a few friends here from WA and they tell me all about it. Mostly the same dumb "feel good" laws as MA but I think you have a few more than we had. I think the MKIV is compliant there so you might want to get it while you still can. It'll go great with your Ranger lol

Yah, and the 'feel good' laws are only getting worse, thanks to Seattle. The Ruger would still be legal (it won't violate the 10-round mag law they want to pass) at least for now. My brother-in-law and his wife moved to Gilbert, AZ a few years ago because his company moved him - he retired a little over a year ago and has said many times over that he won't move back here. His words "HELL NO!"

The other downside is the lack of places to go out and shoot now, at least on the west side of the state.

Usually this site here is the best to buy from. It will list all the online dealers from lowest to highest price. You can search other guns and even mags and I think accessories too by putting the manufacturers part number in the search bar.

Awesome gun, where did you end up getting it from? You definitely need to report back after you shoot it. Wait maybe you should't, that'll just be something else following me home.
