Anyone ever handle one of these? Ruger MKIV 22/45, I am dancing over the purchase button

Ruger makes very good FA...I have the target MkII and with Volquartsens's aftermarket parts, it's a fantastic shooter...

I just bought one but in the Lite version,I'm actually picking it up today. I had the Ruger MKIII and it was a great gun and all the reviews I've read and seen on Youtube about the MKIV have all been good. I was going to get the tactical version but I had no need for the bottom rail and the Lite comes with the top rail. It's only weighs 25oz (lite) and with my Q suppressor which only weighs 4.3 oz it's the perfect setup.

As far as handling one I did ay my LGS and they both had a great feel to them. The grips are 1911 style although I think you'd have to modify true 1911 grips to fit because of the bolt release.

Before you purchase from Tombstone check out prices here, you might be able to find it cheaper. If you're not in a hurry it looks like Smokey Mountain Guns and Ammo is only $379.99 but it's out of stock right now. I've bought several guns from them (including my MKIV Lite) and they're great to deal with and have free shipping.

So I've been a little out of control with my gun purchases lately (thanks Shot Show),kind of like Sid with his lights lol I had sold my Mark III several years ago and have been eyeing this one for a while, especially since I now have a .22 suppressor. The MKIV only weighs 25 oz and my Q can weighs 4.3 oz and it's amazing how light this is. Love the 1911 style grips and the breakdown is just a push button on the rear under the bolt than lift up off the front hinge,a 10 second breakdown. I'm going to add a Volquartsen trigger kit and eventually a Vortex Venom red dot.

Can anyone guess why I chose this color?
