Except for the speed suggestion, I follow all of them...:LOL:
Me too but also don't follow "Avoid jackrabbit starts" :D

I tend to get to speed limit smoothly but quickly.

I tend to get to speed limit smoothly but quickly.
Brisk, but smooth acceleration has been shown to be more efficient than a loooong, drawn out acceleration. Engines are most efficient at their peak torque, so the longer you can keep them either under-load or coasting, the more efficient you'll be.

If you HAMMER it, stock-tune EcoBoosts tend to get very rich under high boost, but a brisk acceleration under moderate load has worked well for both my Ranger and my 1.6EB Fiesta ST.
