I reckon this could morph into another "Where's Dave" thread. That's up to yall, although I suspect it's going to be a waste of time to try and go in that direction.

I'd love to see @AzScorpion back in the forum as much as any of you all, but I'm not holding my breath anymore.

Yesterday I was able to log in and check some of the more interesting and entertaining threads, among them the "Where's Dave" threads. Today I check in to find not only those threads gone, but WV_Ranger is banned for what appears to me to have been an attempt to question the powers that be about removing the good-natured fun many of us have been having at Dave's expense.

I realize there's much we cannot know that happens behind the scenes in a forum such as this, but it does seem to me a bit strange to have threads that are obviously very popular...about a member that has contributed MUCH to this forum and ITS popularity...removed.

It's no secret that Dave and I are friends, and I have no problem being called biased to some extent in that regard, but whatever the heck is going on here now is, in my opinion, not cool at all and I am very disappointed in this forums leadership.

Didn't see this thread until just now. And only because I searched "WV_Ranger" as I noticed earlier today in another thread that he was recently banned. Shocked me honestly. I never noticed him getting out of line IMHO.

Sadly, based on some of my recent experiences I am concerned that my very comments right here, right now may get me banned. Hope not. Really hope not. I truly value the forum and its members. But on the other hand the fact that I am concerned about these minor nothing comments right here... well, 'nuff said.

Fingers crossed for the continued character, knowledge sharing, fun, laughter, camaraderie and (selfishly) my future participation in this forum.

The nice thing is you can still read the forum after being banned. You just can't contribute, but that's 1/2 the fun.

..But to totally delete all evidence of his existence here is a goddamn joke ? ?

He may have been a jackass, but even jackasses have GOOD INPUT and information from time to time.. fuck all that though right? Let's just remove GOOD INFORMATION from a place that's supposed to be a haven for it.
