Went to sLowe's with my daughter and Cheech. She loaded a couple of bags of top soil to fill a backyard hole and I reluctantly paid $86 for a bag of grass seed. =(

But I had chopped down some more English Yews this morning that haven't been trimmed in 65 years. I've been thinning the parts hanging over our backyard for a couple of summers now. The grass continues to make progress into the mossy area as more sun makes it into our small backyard. I scarified it earlier in the week and it really needs the seed. One bag is enough to seed that area and overseed most of our small yard.

Cheech is always a nervous wreck when he's there but maybe it's good for him. He doesn't pay attention to anyone in his frantic mode. A sLowes guy offered him a milk bone, but Cheech didn't take it (maybe because Cheech is wearing Home Depot colors!). =)

he doesn't know where we're going but he sure pulls hard to get there!

with all the crap I'll never use in these SwingCases, I probably pushed the remaining payload to the limit! and if you look hard, you can see that poorly-engineered bed rake handle! =D

I wish I'd taken a pic, on the way home I saw a 5g Ranger with a pretty fugly side stripe sticker on it. I can't find anything online but the color combo was harsh (and I tend to be open to most anything, I mean c'mon, Soupie has a beard chain!). It was like orange and brown stripes right under the window running to the end of the bed on an odd color yellowish Ranger (not Sabre). Maybe they repainted it? It was kind of like this pic but funkier.

Imagine this sticker but right under the windows and running to the taillights. Plus the guy didn't waive as we passed - what kind of monster is he? =p

And it wasn't a Splash or a "happy" one either ...

And it wasn't a 1g ... but similar except the stripes were narrower and only in two colors and right under the windows, but similar beigey color for the body ...

Some days "living the dream" really comes true. Today was one of those as I loaded Soupie up for a dump run this week. =D

What amazes me is that after all the dump runs you have made hauling yard waste, there's still stuff growing in your yard !!!!

Have you seen his front yard? He always keeps some trash on reserve so he will have an excuse to do a dump run...
