OK, so for argument's sake, a Ranger comes off the line today.

Are all the new firmware/software installed during assembly? So the transmission and fuel injector updates are already part of the latest versions?

Or does the dealer still have to update?

I'm thinking all updates/latest revisions are installed with the new builds and the TSB's are released for the Rangers already on the street and are running older software.

Is this accurate?

Usually a TSB says "Applies to VIN's built on or before this date XXX" because they updated the line to include them.

ok, thats what I was thinking. Just verifying my thought was correct.

Trying to keep up to date on issues for when my Ranger is built.
