Truck in Sleep Mode possibly controlling failed remote starts??

Seems the vehicle automatically goes into deep sleep mode under certain conditions. Maybe this explains some of the failed attempts to remotely start the vehicle? ?

Mine still starts with FOB when in deep sleep. It doesn't start with Ford Pass while in deep sleep. The app will tell you when the truck goes into deep sleep mode.

Ford Pass uses a cell connection from AT&T, if your in a poor service area it's not going to work. There can be a pretty long delay when using the app as well.

Mine did the same thing. I simply do not drive enough, so bit the bullet and bought the Ford battery maintainer/charger which solved the issue.

It was a factory option. No way to add OEM remote start but you could get an aftermarket system.

Installing Ford Perimeter Plus will allow you to remote start with your fob.
