How’s your Truck handle towing your pontoon, and in how does it do in/out of the boat ramp? We looked at some pontoons yesterday, and they are definitely lighter than our camper, but look way bigger in size, and it’s a bit concerning to me.
Thanks again
They are bigger! But absolutely no problem on the boat ramp. A few times I’ve forgotten to put in 4 wheel drive and it was still no problem. It’s easy to back down the ramps that I use, they either have paint lines or separation lines and I just watch the tires to the lines. Towing is no problem at all, it just sucks the gas mileage down if you want to run above 65. I have a friend that has a full size pickup….one of the “c” words. He gets around nine mpg pulling his similar size pontoon. So I don’t feel to bad that mine drops so much. Ball drop is about 3 to 4” and I may add bags to the suspension this fall to lift her back up.How’s your Truck handle towing your pontoon, and in how does it do in/out of the boat ramp?
