Torque App

So I grabbed a really cheap android tablet. It was $30. Then I use a Kiwi Plex obdII adapter which I've had for quite some time. Just using a flush magnet mount system.
Anyways....here how I have setup. Goofy or not?

I wouldn't do that myself, I'd prefer a smaller tablet that's lower to the dash but if it works...

Just doesn't seem to be a good place down low.

Not with a tablet that size...on my miata it was a replacement for the oem head unit so a different scenario. If you only want specific info, maybe a smaller non-sim phone mounted lower. you could replace the head unit.

Just replaced with a 9" android head unit with 360 camera.

I been trying to figure it out, but no luck. Can't load it on and it won't mirror from my phone as a app.

What brand, I'm using an Atoto on the Miata. Loading the app was easy, maybe you need an OS update on the head unit? I've loaded it on my samsung tablet and phone as well and all can BT to my OBDII.

I have it on my phone and tablets just fine. But my head unit doesn't have play store. If that is what you mean.

So for some reason now I can sign into Google play on head unit but times out trying to install. I was mobile hot spotting which worked to get into play but not good enough signal I guess.
