I’m on a very similar search as the OP, with the one additional constraint that I tow a 4,300 lb trailer a couple times a month. I’m looking for something with good noise and manners while towing, that handles snow in Illinois when I’m not towing, and is better than average at light off-roading to get to trailheads (I.e. not Jeep trails). Would anyone disqualify the Falken, Cooper, or Toyo recommendations for that use case?
I would double check all the load ratings to be safe but they should all be great options, if you are doing essentially doing just dirt trails I would advise going for an all season tire tbf, the rangers esc and traction control systems are extremely clever and should shore up any mild disadvantages the all seasons have offroad.

KO2 is great offroad but overkill if you're not doing that and wet grip/snow is middling. Falken wildpeak: https://www.falkentire.com/wildpeak/at3w is great all around and especially in snow.
I bought these tires at the beginning of the summer. Recommended on this site as well. Love them, quieter than they look also great for pulling my travel trailer.
Just a heads up I bought a fifth tire recently to replace the factory issued spare tire so everything matches.
Beware: your spare tire could be different in size especially if you upgraded to the black appearance package with 18" wheels like I did so double check the size of your spare.

my final update, i ordered BF Goodrich Trail Terrain tires from costco today and have appointment October 1 to get them installed. Thank you everyone for your suggestions. the falken tires were not in Canadian Tire in my size. i know i could order tires from an online place like kaltire but then i have to arrange and pay for installation separately....so ordering from costco and just going and having them installed (with the warranty and nitrogen fill) made it easier for me and i am a little lazy. i think i can install these tires with the white lettering inside (i have the black appearance package and i am not sure if i want to white letters out). a lot of recommendations for the falken and if getting them ordered and installed was as easy i would probably have gone that route.

once i get them i will send pictures and let you all know what i think over time.
I am looking at getting a new set of tires for my 2020. So far, I think that I am leaning heavily towards the BFG Trail Terrain T/A as well. I was surprised at how few mentions there were throughout your thread. I look forward to hearing what you think of them and to see how they look on your truck.

so far i am very happy with the tires. i haven't driven a lot since i had them installed. they are very quiet and smooth on the road. the same or better than the OEM hankooks. i heard people mention they had vibration at high speeds and i tried getting up to about 75 mph and i didn't have any vibration. a smooth and quiet ride was very important to me and these did not disappoint me on that.

like i said i didn't drive much since they were installed but one day was rainy and wet and i was able to get some wheel spin even with traction control on, but i was also being a little heavy on the gas. i had them installed black side out since i have the black appearance package and didn't want the white letters but i think they would look nice on a different color truck with the white letters out.

costco inflated them to 40 psi and i let some air out so that they are 30 psi cold. i haven't had a chance to try them in snow or mud, but winter is coming and i can put an update here after i had a chance to try them in the snow. i believe BF goodrich also has a new tire now...K03 that might be pretty cool as well if you are in market for new tires.

one person in this thread said he had the BFG Trail terrain t/a and was happy with them but he did notice that they picked up and flicked rocks easily. i have noticed this a little bit too but nothing major.

i attached a few pictures. i have my truck parked on my lawn because i had my driveway sealed and cannot drive on it for a few days. the tires are sunk into the grass a little. overall i like the look of them and perhaps it is all in my head but they seem to fill the wheel well better than the OEM hankooks and "look" bigger to me. i went with the same 18" stock size that the truck came with.

good luck and if you buy these please let me know your impressions as well.
