After I produced the video on greasing the splines (which completely solved the thunk I was getting when coming to a stop / pulling away from a stop) I ultimately swapped out the driveshaft for a Tom Woods 1 piece. That *completely* fixed all the weird shimmy/vibration/shudder I was experiencing.

The nail in the coffin for me to make this decision was when I plunked a GoPro under my truck and filmed the center carrier bearing while pulling away from a stop:

Dang!

Yeah that video shows the shimmy pretty well! Motivates me to try something. I really wish Icon had a solution for this and I'm surprised that they don't.

My updated set up is I swapped out the body shims for washers (0.6 of an inch) and added 240lbs of top soil and shudder is completely gone.. I plan on removing bags of soil until shudder comes back then add enough so I only carry the minimum amount to keep shudder at bay until I can throw in a Tom woods driveshaft.. most definitely confirms the more than advertised lift the icon leaf added over the advertised .375 is what caused my shudder.. with the current set up no thunk coming to a stop but I have grease ready just in case..

I should try this on the Tremor, while it is still a 2 piece, the rear drive shaft going into the differential has a CV joint. Curious if it looks any different accelerating, I don't feel any vibrations or anything.
