11 hrs in the Ranger on Memorial Day round trip from Denver to Pagosa , spent some time Taco counting, all told counted 37 , far fewer Rangers and less than a handful of Gladiators. Traffic moved well, noticed a good many pickups towing RVs, at this time of year not a whole of motor homes on the highway. Lots of new snow at higher elevations and there was a really slippery stretch on 285 where it was snow/sleet. Saw a couple of vehicles with roof top tents, have to remark that with a couple of exceptions people on the road drove safely and courteously. That won't last long as the summer travel season progresses.

I was between buying a Tacoma and a Ranger. It's insane the number of Tacomas there are. My first wheeling trip a few weeks ago, there were 50+ rigs. Of all those rigs, there was 1 Ranger, 1 Jeep, and 1 Colorado. The rest were Toyota (4runner, Tacoma) or Lexus (GXsomethingorother).

I see more Rangers now that I have one, but not nearly as many Tacomas. I am very happy with the Ranger. And... I can get up the mountain passes easily and with better fuel economy. [poke poke]
