Supercab roof rack

Hi all, trying to slowly eliminate everything I want for my truck. I have a supercab and can’t find anything in terms of roof racks for the supercab (companies sure do love the supercrews though). I was hoping there would be a product hidden in google that looks similar to a prinsu or go rhino rack. Not a fan of the cross bars and Thule setups. Do the trucks over seas have the same roof dimensions as us? And if so do they have racks that fit our supercabs? Thanks!

See my plan is to get an overland rack to carry a rtt, so I was hoping to squeeze out as much space as possible considering we don’t have the room inside the cab. But your rig looks sweet!

Not what you are looking for exactly, but Yakima does fit. I couldn't find a picture of the install anywhere before I purchased the fit kit to fit the rack I already had. It's good for the standard Yakima 165 pounds.

Early on, I also started that endless search for a cab roof rack solution for my SuperCab. I also didn’t want crossbars with legs. I wanted the bolt-in style such as the the Prinsu Cab Rack, Frontrunner, or Rhino Rack Backbone. I saw a Ranger with Rhino Rack Pioneer Platforms on its roof and its fibreglass topper - they were aligned so they were dead-level and I thought it looked great.

You might like that Rhino Rack incorporates its crossbars into its Pioneer Platform Racks - it sits closer to the roof but you’d still have to use those clamp-on legs. I mounted legs through my canopy and used their rack. It’s as tight to the roof as it gets.

You can see how the crossbars are part of the platform and that traditional crossbars are not needed for the rack to sit on. Keep in mind, you have to clear the crown of the roof.

In my search, I learned that the manufacturers didn’t have an offering for our shorter cabs and that the RoW Rangers had mounting points under the black roof trim pieces. With NA Rangers, you have to drill holes in the roof gutters, install rivnuts, then modify the trim pieces. That alone made me nervous but in the end, I was never able to find what I was looking for in a Scab configuration, so I didn’t have to make that decision. I was nervous enough drilling into my topper to install my roof rack.

I have a look online every now and then, but as with a lot of other aftermarket items, there just aren’t enough Scabs out there for them to include us in their plans.

You should try and call those three companies - find a way to get past their customer service folks and talk to the engineering, design or marketing people - they would know of anything in the works or if they would entertain a one-off.

It costs nothing to ask. Good luck with your search and post on the forum if you find something out there.

Rhino Rack lists a platform kit for the Ranger SuperCab on their German site. Here's the link to the fitment and what it includes. The part numbers in the list all seem to work with the US site except for the RTS526 tracks.

The RTS526 tracks are 34 7/17" long. The shortest on the us site are 50' ish
