Strange gasket

2019 ford ranger, I seem to have some type of gasket or seal at the bottom of the cab between cab and box. That blocks the space , sits at about 70 degrees, full width of the cab, can not see the ground, doesn’t look like it should be there, anyone know what it is, it lets water and debris just sit there against the cab
