Went to put stuff into the under seats storage and notice the knob was laying in the bin and I tried to put them into the cover and it not turning once I think I have it in right. Anyone else having this issue?

Under the back seat of the truck. (Maybe I am calling it the wrong name?)
I have "stuff" stored under my rear seat but did not notice the cover thingy in your picture.
I'll look tomorrow and get back to you... :)

Do you have a SuperCab or a CrewCab? I know this is not in the crew....well, not in MINE at least.

Anybody else have this in their crewcab? Can you post a picture that shows more of the storage compartment? (zoomed out)

The names are close..
Mine's a SuperCab and it has the doors on the storage bins.
The lock knobs have staid in place so far.
Maybe you have one which was just not installed right.
If you can't get it to stay in place check the dealer.
Do they still only cover fit and finish for 90days?

I went out and looked at mine, it appears to just snap into the hole from above ,being mindful to work in the locking tab and the little stop tabs.

Supercab has the cover in question.

I’ve tried going in from top and the tabs just don’t line up right and I am taking it to my dealer tomorrow and have them check it out.

Mine looks like it snaps in from the bottom. I'm guessing that when they installed yours they didn't press it in far enough to engage the clips into the groove.

You may have it right, I don't really want to try it.
It was found inside the compartment.

Thing is the retainer tabs all point down.
I hope we find out.

The tabs are tapered at the bottom, being thinner toward the outside. That should allow the top of the knob to push them outward. I don't want to try to remove mine either. I tend to break things when I do that.

I tried to push them though, even with it on carpet, the knobs just won't go past the tabs.... Afraid I'd break it..
