When I ordered my Ranger back in 2020 as soon as they opened up for 2021 orders, I was a little disappointed that the Ford marketing material did not have adequate descriptions or photos of some of the OEM options. To make it worse, even my local dealer was not familiar with some of these options. I provided feedback to Ford corporate on the need of better training for the dealers. It appears the Ford website is slowly adding more information. For those wondering about some of these options, here are some photos. I'm absolutely LOVING this Ranger! Hopefully these photos help others decide on what options to purchase.

Engine Block Heater
It is installed on the right side of the radiator intake and comes with a cover. This was installed at the factory. It shows up on the window sticker as "ENGINE BLOCK HEATER".
Brake Controller
This was installed at the dealer. The installation location is below and to the right of the steering wheel. The dealer knew nothing about this option and had no documentation. This is an Australian REDARC Tow-Pro controller that Ford is finally offering in the US. The US REDARC website does not have as much data as the Australian website: https://www.redarc.com.au/ebrh-accv2. You can download the manual there because Ford did not provide a manual. It interfaces with the adaptive cruise control and emergency braking. I have not tested it, yet, but this a very clean, small form factor install.
Paint Protection Film
This is installed at the factory and shows up on the window sticker as "PAINT PROTECTION". Below you can see the line of the trailing end of the film on the hood and right quarter panel. Very clean install at the factory. My former truck had so many chips on the hood that I went for this option.
