So, I got the medium stone interior in my XLT. The truck was purchased before any Dealer Adds were done, so no kind of fabric protection unless Ford does something. Does anyone have any experience with Scotchguard DIY? Please let me know what works, tips, tricks etc.

It's been my experience that Scotchguard in the red can works as advertised. Do a deep cleaning on whatever you're going to protect. Test it on a hidden area to make sure that it doesn't discolor the fabric then apply per the directions on the can. Don't be afraid of using too much. As long as you don't do a 'wet' cleaning, like shampooing the carpet, it should last forever.

I've used it on the carpet and cloth of every vehicle I've ever owned and it works like a champ. Heckuva lot cheaper than what the dealer offers as well.
