    Make sure you check your spare rim size, mine is 16". I opted to use my XLT 17" rim with a BFG KO2 255/75R 17 to match the diameter of my Falkens. Plenty of room for a tire at least an inch taller than this one.

    Just had mine done a couple of days ago. Icon with tubular UCA's. Got tired of waiting for Icon wheels so went with Fuel Grey Shok 17x9 +1mm offset. I'll have to do a little more trimming on my crash bars and remove those plastic blocks at the rear of the wheel well.

  6. Factory rims. 3 inch lift. 285/70r17 Ridge Grapplers

    From what I've read the bars have quite a bit of slop in them. Loosen the bolts and see if you can adjust for more clearance. I was going to do that when I trimmed mine but couldn't get the first bolt loose. Turns out the nut is captive on the frame so I never would have gotten it loose.....

    Does this compressor turn on and off with pressure? It appears the aluminum housing might be a small air tank but I can't tell for sure. Otherwise the way your system is designed you'd be dead heading the compressor, right?

    Thx. I may reinforce them once I see what I have for clearance with the wheels and tires mounted. I don't know what real purpose these bars serve but I'm sure I'm a bit less safe with them trimmed.

    So, I got the medium stone interior in my XLT. The truck was purchased before any Dealer Adds were done, so no kind of fabric protection unless Ford does something. Does anyone have any experience with Scotchguard DIY? Please let me know what works, tips, tricks etc.

    Someone requested more pictures of the medium stone interior. I also got my tint done, went with Global QDP Ceramic 38%. The Tint Guy, Jason @ 602 435 9580, here in Phoenix is awesome if any locals need a guy. Also got my Weathertech liners put in, great fit!

    My first mod was removing the 4x4 decal from the bed sides. Just wanted to share that no mechanical or chemical means was necessary and the decals came off cleanly.

  20. Got my new Ranger a few days ago, should I keep the purchased extended warranties / maintenance?

    I just cancelled an extended warranty on my Subaru since I plan to get a Ranger by end of year. One thing I noted is that if the extended warranty is financed, that refund will go to the lien holder first. It sounds right that your total owed will go down.
