Remote Range

I don't have remote start except for on Ford Pass. If I am 20 feet from the truck it usually won't lock or unlock. Its really a crappy remote with such a short range. Is there any way to increase the range?

I've locked my doors and started my truck from 3 states over - just to see if it would work. It did. I was in Texas and locked my doors in Ohio.

There should be no range limits on the Ford Pass remote options.

I see no need for a FOB remote start with this app.

but I honestly cant figure out what the question is.

The best usage for me is finding the "lost" truck in the lot. Hell, I couldn't find my truck in a 7-11 parking lot..especially since I don't park on the fringes of the lot. I blend in....LOL

My mind is working so fast I don't make a mental note where I park. The panic button finds it easily..From over 100 feet away using the remote FOB. No need to take out my phone to start the truck The FOB works great

I put a new battery in my fob as suggested. Didn't improve anything.
Voltage in the original battery is 3.08V.
