I need to rant about the low number of available and different style of Ranger hats available on the Ford Merchandise store.
There are only 2-3 Ranger specific hats that I see. They are not bad, but I’d like to see a much broader selection with different designs and colors.
To fulfill my Mustang collection of hats, there are hats by the boat load. F150 hats are also out there and available in many different designs.
i suppose we can wear the Built Tough hats. But that feels like f-series advertising to me.
we get one design of the outline of a Ranger or a hat that literally says Ranger on it. It is only straight text with the Ranger font. The Hats with Ranger on it have the color of the text in nearly the same color of the hat so it’s hard to read!
I’ll admit I have a hat collection problem. My family might call it hoarding hats. When I go out, I like to where a hat that matches what I’m doing and how I am feeling.
I am really sad at the attention the Ford accessory people are giving the Ranger. I feel like they are treating the Ranger as a red headed step child!
Maybe the group in charge are huge f-series fans and discredit the Ranger as inferior and not worth any real time or commitment? I would hope not, but something is off. They are waiting for something to happen?
I would think the advertising arm would be pushing for more?
I have no idea how these things are decided and action begins. I would think they would be looking at number of trucks sold and the buzz on the street to calculate some sort of projection of numbers to be sold.
