Finally got the Ranger back after four months in the bodyshop. As part of the repairs, they put in a new radiator. The body work the local dealer did was good, but not super impressed with their attention to detail elsewhere. Two clips are missing from each side of the wheel arch fascias, and the turbo intake fell off 30 seconds after driving away. So far, stuff I can fix. But, I've got a waterfall sound behind the dash, so assume there's air in the coolant system.
On previous trucks, I've put the front wheels up on ramps, taken the cap off the coolant reservoir and squeezed the big coolant line coming off the top of the radiator (with the engine running) until all the bubbles stopped coming out of the coolant in the reservoir. I'm assuming this will work identically on the Ranger, but figured I'd ask here first. Anything unique I need to do, or any specific procedure I should follow?
