The Napa Autoparts - equivariant P/N: is 782-1141, however in store they showed 2 different fuses for that P/N - 1-All Black (No Window) and 1- Just like what is installed.
Ordered it and it was an exact copy @ $10.49 plus tax

I have no idea why anything would need to be programmed to replace the Battery Mounted Fuselink (BMFL) assembly. I couldn't find the Ford part number for the fuse listed on USA Ford sites, only on overseas web sites. I guess that is why the dealer replaced the whole BMFL.
I am assuming (Battery Disconnect) so Dr. Window (Reset) is all that I can think of.

First rule, never do anything to your Ranger without coming here first!
to blow a 225 amp had to have taken a dead Short somewhere, I think even the Alternator only produces 140amp, I am pretty sure your light bar dont pull 225amp unless a wire got caught in the hood?
good thing it was there!
Ranger Alternator Specs = 170 Amps (Max)

Well, that's complicated because it seemed like an emergency if my truck could shut off any time, any place, so I felt like I was over the coals. It's also complicated because I don't know if I could take it somewhere and say "please do this thing I discovered from the Ranger5g forum" -like they could probably get in trouble for not making their own analysis. But getting educated at any point is overall helpful, I guess.

I don't know if this helps but this is the raft pump I've been hooking up to the battery. I think there's a high probablility I would have attached it to that stud since its the most prominent and I didn't know any better. https://www.flycraftusa.com/product...vZakgPpr6ldzy3WJ0B0Dvcfj8kktZ1MOzUfHhjZKWh9OS

The light bar was something like $35 on Amazon, I can't find the exact one because it was a gift. So don't know how much information that gives...

I bought a light bar and ditch lights a few weeks ago and havent installed them yet.
their first thought would not be to do it cheaply, cant make the light bill selling a $12 fuse, and the more high tech our vehicles become the worse these issues are going to be, the safety aspect does worry me the way it would handle being shut off and still be able to steer safely to a stop, just hope we are not on a Mt Road in a Curve when it happens, I think these trucks are Steer by Electronics?

You would still be able to steer without power, but it would be very stiff without the electric assist.
