Did a quick overnight off-road trip with some friends up at Chappie OHV Park in Redding CA and Shasta Dam. Drove up the mountain to “Hang-glider Hill” in some wet and muddy weather. Was a lot of fun and with 15 psi in the tires the Crosswind mud terrains did exceptionally well! Of course any tire would at that pressure lol
Other vehicles in attendance, Bronco 2, 2006 Tacoma, 2015 F-150. The trail got a bit narrow for the 150 and the Bronco 2 struggled through some of the sloppy mud but we all made it up. I camped out in the back of my truck and ran a long extension cord to a quiet generator so I could have a heater. Which I certainly didn’t regret! I also have a air compressor and generator in my truck which makes airing tires up quick and easy.
Will be doing this again soon so if anyone wants to join let me know!
