I guess it's not al bad news for Ford lately. The new 6G Ranger won the Best 4×4 & Pickup by a group of 63 woman judges from five continents and 45 countries.

Those judges evaluate new vehicles based on six categories – safety, driving, comfort, technology, design, efficiency, impact on the environment, and value for money. Once the votes were tallied, the Ford Ranger came out on top for a number of reasons. “This is a reliable, stylish, and charismatic pickup,” the judges wrote. “It moves with ease over any terrain. It’s as efficient as an off-roader, but more practical thanks to its cargo box.”
“The all-new Ranger is our toughest and smartest yet, packed with innovative design and engineering from our teams around the world, and is sold in over 180 countries,” said Liz Pelling, communications lead, Ford Pro, Europe. “Thank you to the Women’s World Car of the Year jury for this award, which recognizes Ranger’s global appeal.”
