Coming in late to the game, I wanted to get a 2023 as the 2024s are hideous and extremely limited in terms of options.

I turned in my 2019 Ford Ranger, and got a Tremor Lariat. I was worried about getting the Tremor package as I'm not at all an off roader. The one time I took my FX4 Ranger off road was on a beach in Oregon, going 30mph with the terrain management set to sand and feeling like an absolute badass. In addition, I saw that the mpg ratings for the Tremor were significantly lower. But I was just itching for something different, and the Tremor fit the bill. It gives me the appearance of supreme capability when in fact I'm mostly useless. Plus I always wanted a 2014 F150 Tremor.

An additional concern was the color. It doesn't show up in pictures, but there's a lot of orange in the hot pepper red. There are threads on here, the bronco, and the maverick forums of people debating just what the hell color hot pepper red is.

But obviously I pulled the trigger on it, got it delivered two weeks ago, and so far love it. I'm at a thousand miles, having just finished a road trip that took me up and through a mountain pass twice yesterday, and my lifetime mpg so far is 21.7, with the admittedly much less objective miles to empty at 430 gallons.

And the damn color changes depending on how the light hits it, what kind of lights and any shade. I was walking up to it and watched it go from an almost rapid red to a burnt sienna. As such, she is officially called the catfish.

Planned mods are the same as my previous Ranger. An AWE exhaust and tint the windows. And definitely temove the worthless running boards. I'm also toying with getting red brake calipers, as I think it will look particularly good. Oh, and that Tremor shirt off etsy. Guaranteed +5 hp with that!

Congrats and welcome , now for a few question,
how's the trans shift? And does it shutter when you take off from a stop?
I have a 21 FX4 Larait and had to do the TW drive shaft rear shocks and Icon springs, all made a big improvement.

Nice truck! HPR and Azure are the only colors I have not seen in person on a tremor. Looks awesome. Time for the side steps to go and some black Ford ovals.

So far I've encountered neither of those. The closest I've come is when changing lanes and wanting a quick speed up, it feels like the truck hesitates slightly. But even that has so far been very rare.

I've never thought before about changing out the ovals, but now you've got me thinking!
