Need help with dome lighting wiring

I have a 2020 Ranger XLT and I am looking to install LEDs in my running boards that are connected to the dome lighting so that they turn on and off with the dome lights. I am stuck right now trying to figure out which wires will allow me to do this. Any help will be much appreciated!

I initially used the dome light wire for my bed lights. It's the light gray wire with the purple stripe on the connector in the driver's side panel. I ended up moving my bed lights source to the cargo lamp power. But for side step lights, this is the source you need.

Landan I did the same thing. Put LED lights along the pinch seal under the cab. I taped into the cargo box light and ran a wire down inside the "C" pilar of the cab through a hole under the door sill. Hope this will help you.
