Lowering the Rear

Anyone just lower the rear of a 2WD? I have a 2020 XLT not crazy about raising the front, but would be interested in just lowering the back. Thanks

You have to swap the leafs from the top to bottom of the axle , about a 5 inch drop I think...

Since it's the mono , I didn't think that was an option? I'd love to drop mine 2"...

People have done it. Mine is dropped 5” in the back. With a flip kit and shackles you can get 4, 5 or 6” drop. Any less would either require lift springs to compensate for the flip or…… just de arch the springs, do not flip the axle and call it a day.

I personally have about 360lbs of sand bags in the bed, dropped about 3/4".

Not much but shops around here won't do anything like de-arching leaf springs so best I could personally get.

I would love if the bed was 2 inches lower, but alas, it seems like the market has spoken and it wants taller stock trucks.

I always laugh at those tacomas on tiny tires, but man they sure are easy to put stuff in the bed and get it out

I make my mother in law ride in the box of my Ranger, it is a win-win situation. Lowers rear of truck and no nagging
