Toyota's reliability reputation is already under heavy assault due to the new Tundra engine problems.

Now this is cropping up in the Tacomas.

Makes me start to wonder if I'll ever buy another new vehicle from anybody.

I read that and wondered how many of the 5G or 6G members bailed on the 6G flubbed launch and bought a Taco instead. ? I’m sure they would come back here and tell us if they were having issues

OT: I was watching some youtube stuff about the MAV and the new Toyota Stout compact truck coming out soon. I saw that Ford licensed some Toyota hybrid patents for the Mav.

I think I'll take a look at the stout when it comes out. Not really in the market, but after seeing the 2025 Mav not offering a Lariat FX4 or a 4K tow package on the tremor means I won't be buying a Mav, unless they rethink that in a future model year.

I assume it's probably cost related, since people are already bitching about the price increases on the Mav and it not being an affordable option any more, and I can see their point.
