The bolt on the mounting bracket for my bicycle seat would loosen up every time I would do a ride...street or trail. This would result in a wobbly seat. 1st tried WD40 on the thread to try and get the bolt to tighten up more and hold but no success. Next used the blue and it worked! I cleaned the bolt thread and nut with a toothbrush using isopropyl alcohol and let it dry. Then applied several drops of blue to the head of the thread, tightened the bolt and let it cure 24 hours before touching it. Have taken several test rides afterward over rough terrain and bumpy streets and the bolt remains unmoved with the nut locked to the thread! Didn't want to use the more permanent red because I want to be able to adjust the seat if ever needed. Hope the bolt will loosen without excessive torque if I ever need to remove it?

I always use the blue. Especially on my optics for my guns and haven't had any problems with them loosening up and flying off.

I switched to Vibra-Tite for a lot of stuff. Holds just as well but easier to remove those tiny torx/allen screws without stripping them or snapping the bit. I leave Loctite for bigger bolts.
