Ok then that makes more sense. Hennesey dyno'd a factory Ranger at 243 HP to the wheels.

You managed to get 30 more HP from bolt ons? Kind of impressed.

Hennessey's dyno shows the Ranger producing 243 horsepower (181 kilowatts) and 267.88 pound-feet (363.2 Newton-meters) of torque at the rear wheels. For comparison, the truck's stock ratings are 270 hp (201 kW) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm). This amounts to a 10-percent loss in horsepower and 13.58-percent drop in torque in the power's journey from the engine to the road.
Only thing I can think is who ever you get your dyno from is not accurate? I dunno.

My last tune requests included my downpipe along with every other mod I have included on my truck. I messaged them with the results from the dyno and they told me that the numbers look about right on. I laughed. Only a 20 gain in horsepower. They are advertising 60+ gain. I will be going with a new tuner, currently running stock until I can find someone who really knows what they are doing.
So just make sure I’m understanding this correctly. With all bolt-ons + Livernois tune= 20 hp gain??

If you're going by what Hennessy got on their Dyno at the wheels I technically gained 50 with the bolt-ons and the tune. Livernois advertises that you gain 60 with just the tune. So I'm left here confused

No I meant, prior to your tune. You said you got 273 before the tune.

My first run on the dyno was 273 horsepower without the tune. My second and third were 298 and 296 with the tune. I am not talking about factory numbers
93 octane unleashed tune ..no mods, muffler delete..before and after tune …Regards
Dyno Room was 110 degrees..

I wonder what 5-star tunes differently to produce about 30HP more than Unleashed.

However unleashed flips the script and produces about 20-30 more TQ?

haha

Personally I like TQ more than HP. I don't need top speed in a truck, I want pushing power.

@Doc
we couldn’t get an adequate HP reading due to the temp in the Dyno room, but I’ll take the 388 lb/ft of torque any day …Regards
