Leer 100R hit by covid-19

I had ordered a Leer 100R with the Thule roof rack with Aero Bars three weeks ago and was stoked last Thursday when the dealer called to let me know it was done and would be coming on the truck today and I'd get it installed tomorrow.
I got a call today from my dealer letting me know that the Leer and Century plants closed as of Friday due to covid concerns and that Leer was deciding whether to ship a load of shells to San Diego or let them sit in quarantine for a few weeks?
Total ?? I say SHIP THEM!!?

I'm pretty sure that a Leer 100R is not a mobile petri dish and I'd be more likely to be attacked by a great white shark while summiting Mt. Everest than have my new shell give me covid ?

I have a feeling I'm in the same boat. Even though I ordered my Leer 100XR over 5 weeks ago, well before the country started collapsing from this, and I feel like mine would come from the Indiana plant. But unlike you, I've heard jack squat from my dealer on anything. So I have no idea what's going on with mine. I can only speculate.

they actually reported today that one of the princess cruises showed live virus 17 days later in some rooms.
Im sure there were many factors at play for that to happen, but the reality of this situation is we all need to change our thinking, not just for the short term, the loooong term.

Who quoted 17 days? and what were their sources? Was the data vetted?
I never buy in on "someone reported" unless the information is backed by facts otherwise known as "The Truth"

Well I just got a call from my local Leer dealer, my shell will be in quarantine sitting in the factory storage area west of Sacramento for a few weeks, allowing the covid infused paint & carpets the time to shed the virus making transportation to San Diego and the dealer installation safe for all Americans!

Awesome that you have diagnosed me with some kind of trust issues, truth is it all started with my mother when I was very young.
She told me there would be people who make judgments about me, without knowing a damn thing about me and that those people would tell me about the issues they believe I have.
