Hopefully this thread isn't redundant, but has anyone replaced the dome and map/spot light lamps on their Lariat yet with LED's?
Or, are they LED's already and not serviceable like the taillight/cargo-hi mount stop lamps assembly's are?

I may be wrong and am thinking of another vehicle but I read the LEDs are part of the board.

I'm really confused... My XLT interior lights are all led. My cargo/third brake light are incandescent bulbs and are easily replaced. Did they change something on the 2020 XLT/Lariats??

The LEDs are on a circuit board.
I was afraid of that, in another thread in which another member had removed their dome light, the lamps did not appear to be serviceable separately.
My almost 65 year old eyes need all the help they can get when it comes to lighting...the glovebox light is especially dim.
Thanks !

The '19 Lariat interior lighting is LED like the XLT but the Lariat Cargo brake light and white lighting are LED.

Yeah, I would go a little brighter interior LEDs too.
Maybe the glove box bulb can be changed.

Not sure about 2020 XLT's, but the cargo/hi-mount light assembly on my Lariat are LED's wired onto a circuit board, if any of the 3 lamps go out, you gotta replace the whole thing, unless you can find suitable boards to replace them with.

I'm guessing Ford made a running change on the 2020 Lariats sometime, if any.

edit: Joeb427 explained it better than I

Sorry for the confusion, I did not know that the interior lights are non-serviceable LED's already.

A bit of that but I've always liked a bit brighter lighting. Not crazy bright like some do but a bit brighter and of course whiter like 5K type LEDs.

What am I missing? that glove box seems a little narrow. Is there a small glove box somewhere else?

Lol, that's because they are little storage nacelles in the middle of the dash, below the HVAC controls, Image #4 shows a pic of a conventional glovebox, (which is illuminated as standard equipment). All interior lamps are LED's, even the instrument cluster and HVAC controls, I added the nacelle lighting and wired little switches which operate those lights with their door's open.
I also added the courtesy lights just aft of the rearview mirror, front footwells and left and right sides of the cargo area. Lucky for the alternator they are all LED's, if they were conventional incandescent it would probably go into convulsions...
As you can see, I like to see things in the dark, harkens back to my firefighter days.
