What type of cab do you have?I just got mine yesterday and noticed the pull tab on the center of the seat. It looks like a console/cupholder design, but it doesn't pull down. Is there supposed to be a center back seat pull down?
Thanks
Hi Brian,The problem with the pull tab is that when you pull it to release the latch, the pulling action puts outward pressure on the latch and it does not want to release. The secret is to push the armrest IN with one hand and pull the tab OUT with the other. if you so that, it opens very easily.
Hi. It happens to me on my 2020 FX4 with only 2k miles, did the dealer change the cup holder or justThe pull tab just came out when I pulled it. The tab wasn't connected to the release. A warranty visit to the dealer fixed that along with the hard to latch seat when unhooked and down.

Thank you so much for this!! I picked up my Ranger yesterday and then had to work last night so I didnt get to explore it much. Was kinda freaking out today when I tried to pull that down and it didn't work. #LifesaverThe problem with the pull tab is that when you pull it to release the latch, the pulling action puts outward pressure on the latch and it does not want to release. Mine opens with a firm upward pull.I just got mine yesterday and noticed the pull tab on the center of the seat. It looks like a console/cupholder design, but it doesn't pull down. Is there supposed to be a center back seat pull down?
